Shwetali Sawant is a visionary social entrepreneur and a steadfast advocate for migrant women entrepreneurs. With a Master’s in Biomedical Engineering from Cornell University, she transformed her passion for empowerment into action by founding The Indian Bazaar in 2017. This Social Traders Australia-certified social enterprise has become a thriving platform that supports home-based businesses run by Indian women entrepreneurs, providing them with visibility and market access through events, exhibitions, and pop-up markets.
As the Marketing Manager for Indian Business Women Network Inc., a non-profit dedicated to supporting women entrepreneurs, Shwetali has played a pivotal role in helping over 1500 Indian business owners launch and scale their ventures. Her mission extends beyond business growth—she is committed to creating sustainable economic opportunities, fostering financial independence, and amplifying the voices of migrant women in Australia.
